Palle Dahlstedt

Associate professor, Information technology and music, University of Gothenburg and Chalmers University of Technology
Obel Professor in Art and Technology at Aalborgs Universitet in Denmark

Membership period 2012–2017

I develop new technologies and concepts for musical improvisation and composition, based on my own artistic practice and on algorithms from nature, complex systems and computer science. Also, I’m working on computational models of artistic creativity, with the dual objective of understanding the artistic mind and getting creative behavior from machines.
