ALLEA – The European Federation of Science and Humanities Academies is an organization that represents over 50 academies from more than 40 countries in Europe. ALLEA operates at the intersection of science, politics, and society and advocates on behalf of its members to promote science as a global public good. The Young Academy of Sweden is now a member of ALLEA. Read more.

Since the Young Academy of Sweden wants to further increase its international reach, joining ALLEA was a very logical step. Being part of ALLEA allows us to strengthen our European activities and as a young academy help shape the future conditions for research in Europe, says Ronnie Berntsson, chair for the Young Academy of Sweden.
