The Young Academy of Sweden (YAS) submits a consultation response to the government report “Strengthened focus on the research infrastructure of the future”. As advanced research infrastructure becomes an increasingly important prerequisite in several subject areas, and the need for coordination, defining responsibilities and how these are distributed are great, YAS welcomes that the system is being reviewed, but unfortunately the investigation does not quite reach it.
