I am head of the Broberger lab, at the Department of Neuroscience, Karolinska Institutet. In my research, I focus on understanding the neuronal brain networks enabling the structure of basic survival functions. I have a special interest in food intake, sleep and hormone regulation, focusing on the hypothalamus and cerebral cortex. Methods I use are for example electrophysiology and microscopy in various animal models.
I was Chair of the Young Academy of Sweden in 2012/13.
Born: 1972
