I am an Associate Professor and Lecturer of Industrial information systems architecture at The Royal Institute of Technology and a Research Associate at Harvard Business School. My background is as a Civil Engineer in Computer Engineering and a PhD in Electrical and Systems Engineering. I did an industry-placed postdoc at ABB Corporate Research and was a researcher at Harvard before becoming an associate professor. My research focuses on complex system architectures and their handling when it comes to change and IT security. The research is sponsored by H2020, Vinnova, the Swedish Energy Agency and InnoEnergy. My developed methods are tested in industrial collaborations with e.g. Ericsson and ABB.
I have also started a company, foreseeti AB, a joint effort and spin-off from the research. foreseeti develops and sells a product called securiCAD, a CAD tool for the analysis and simulation of IT security in complex system architectures.
Born: 1981
Family: My wife Susanne (researcher at KI/Harvard), and our daughters Minna och Siiri
Interests: Music, film and sports, e.g. the half marathon race Lidingöloppet and Vasaloppet, the world’s biggest ski race. I was once a member of, what small town Köping’s local newspaper referred to as, “Sweden’s youngest punk band”!
As a member I want to ensure that young people are heard, seen and taken seriously in the research community. I hope that together we will reach out to the public with good research and attract the young to dare to invest in a research career or even younger people to invest in theoretical subjects in school. One goal I have is to achieve a more equal workplace in technical subject areas.
