As the elections for new members of YAS are approaching, Uppsala University Junior Faculty invites all Junior Faculty/Future faculty organization members nationwide to an information webinar about YAS and which opportunities it offers younger researchers.
The Young Academy of Sweden (YAS) is an interdisciplinary academy for a selection of the most prominent younger researchers in Sweden. The academy is an independent platform that provides young researchers with a strong voice in the policy debate and that promotes science and research, often focusing on children and young adults.
Our invited speakers will explain the aim and organization of YAS, who can apply to become a member and what it is like to be a member. Apart from short talks there will be plenty of time for questions. Warmly welcome!
