A Beginner’s Guide to Swedish Academia was created as the guide many of us wish we’d had – not just arriving from abroad, but perhaps first setting foot in the academic world.

Being new to the university system can be overwhelming. This guide is intended for anyone new to the Swedish system. It introduces key concepts, helps navigate different processes, and suggests where to begin.
