I am a professor in nanobiotechnology at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm where I lead a research group. We apply micro- and nanobiotechnology to develop new methods for biotechnology and medical applications. I am also the CEO of the start-up company Picovitro AB. Picovitro develops and provides tools for single-cell analysis.
I was the Academy’s first Chair from the inauguration year 27 May 2011 – 27 May 2012. I am also a member of the Global Young Academy.
