The Young Academy of Sweden is an interdisciplinary academy for a selection of the most prominent, younger researchers in Sweden. It is a working academy with four two-day meetings per year where members discuss research policy, meet with distinguished guests, present science, and plan for different activities and projects. In addition to the academy meetings, members organize, and participate in, various external activities such as dialogue with decision makers at universities and politicians, outreach activities aimed towards children, seminars and writing of open editorials.

The Young Academy welcomes applications from researchers in all scientific fields. Election of new members is based on two criteria:

The membership period is five years, with no possibility of re-election. More information about the academy and being a member is available here.
