Interests: I like languages and have studied French, Arabic and a bit of Farsi, and would really like to master Arabic at an advanced level one day, but Duolingo is not optimal for that. I enjoy working with my hands and have concluded that knitting is fully compatible with a research life, as long as you stick to smaller projects.
Other: I have tried mounted archery and horseback fencing. I would like to have a horse again in the future.
