The Young Academy of Sweden is open to prominent, independent researhers in all disciplines, whose dissertation was presented not more than 10 years ago. Qualification requirements for election are scientific excellence and an expressed engagement near Young Academy of Sweden’s areas of interest. The membership period is 5 years.
As a member, you will have access to a forum where a selection of Sweden’s leading young researchers meet to discuss and promote issues that broadly affect research and science.
The Young Academy of Sweden has been in existence since 2011 and several generations of members have become alumni. Today, over 70 former members form a growing network of distinguished researchers. We are keen to retain our alumni in our network and for them to stay in touch with each other. Regular activities are organised with the alumni and several conduct joint research projects.
